- Responsible for developing and implementing Walmart Stores Inc (Retail and Sam’s Club) and Canadian Retail channels, specific sales plan and achieving targeted sales and profit goals.
- Oversee and manage NAM position covering targeted sales and profit goals.
- Maintain effective customer relationship for the assigned accounts.
- Develop annual business plan within authorized trade spending parameters, utilizing the OGSM tools to achieve alignment internally and externally
- Develop effective strategies, methods and go-to-market synergies to further develop the Walmart Stores Inc and Canadian retail business and expansion into new department and drive execution and results
- Champion Walmart Stores Inc and Canadian retail opportunities for the assigned accounts by aligning the organization against emerging trends and competitive activity to achieve project goals and profits
- Develop and manage sales broker organization by setting smart goals and objectives in a timely manner and aligning to our business goals
- Accurately manage volume forecasts and maximize trade efficiency by understanding the demand and key business drivers for the assigned regions
- Manage monthly trade and sales contribution analysis
- Lead sales calls with buyers in assigned regions; sell in new items and support programs to account buying teams.
- Develop effective sales presentations based on customer needs, insights and the customer’s decision criteria, and for a variety of internal/external presentation settings
- Assist in development of sales programs to drive incremental volume and new distribution
- Gain support and commitment of the teams and cross functional teams to drive business results internally and externally through effective leadership
- Set challenging goals and demonstrate resilience in achievement and take accountability for delivering on personal and shared commitments
Skills/Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business or related field preferred
- 10 plus years’ experience specific Walmart Stores Inc and Canadian retail.
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong business and collaborative relationships
- Proven ability to adapt and manage effectively in fast paced, changing environment
- Ability to plan, assess and implement change
- Solid business and financial acumen
- Superior communication, analytical and presentation skills
- Ability to effectively manage broker network
- Ability to build and maintain positive relationships and communicate at all levels of the organization
