Description
We are seeking a highly motivated, results-oriented National Account Manager to accelerate the distribution of Crossmark’s mutual funds, ETFs, and SMA strategies across leading wealth management platforms. Reporting to the Head of Distribution, you will proactively engage with broker-dealers, TAMPs, and research/due diligence analysts to secure product placement, advance strategic initiatives, and identify sales opportunities. The ideal candidate has strong relationship-management capabilities, critical thinking skills, deep investment vehicle knowledge, a proven track record of successfully executing multi-year client engagement plans, and existing connections with research gatekeepers. Firm Overview Crossmark Global Investments is a boutique investment management firm with $9.3 billion in assets under management (AUM). The firm provides a comprehensive suite of investment solutions to institutional investors, financial advisors, and the clients they serve. For nearly 40 years, Crossmark has specialized in socially conscious, values-based investment solutions. Crossmark’s product offerings include mutual funds, SMAs, and ETFs. Rooted in faith, we are bridging the gap between fiduciary rigor and a stewardship heart, operating under the conviction that how we manage our business is as important as how we manage client assets. A Culture of Caring Headquartered in Houston, Texas, Crossmark is a faith-based firm indirectly owned by a non-profit organization; as a result, our corporate success supports ministry programs. We actively support our employees’ passions through matching charitable contributions, paid Volunteer Time Off (VTO), and the opportunity to participate in firm-sponsored mission trips. By supporting these efforts, we not only strengthen our communities but also foster a culture of empathy, collaboration, and social responsibility within our firm. Our “Culture of Caring” is defined by our core values: Integrity, Unity, Stewardship, Servant Leadership, and Professional Excellence. Essential Duties and Responsibilities * Strategic Partnership: Serve as the primary point of contact to select broker-dealers (e.g., Charles Schwab, Edward Jones, Envestnet, LPL, Raymond James, Stifel, Wells Fargo, etc.). * Platform Placement: Secure, maintain, and optimize Crossmark’s product placements with national broker-dealer platforms, TAMPs, and clearing firms. * Relationship Management: Cultivate deep, trust-based relationships with research analysts, product managers, and due diligence teams to drive platform placement, recommended list status, and model portfolio inclusion. * Business Planning: Develop, execute, and monitor comprehensive annual business plans for focus firms to meet asset growth and retention targets. * Sales Enablement: Share actionable platform business intelligence, gatekeeper feedback, and product availability with wholesalers to support regional sales effectiveness. Partner with them to develop meaningful relationships with home office sales COIs. * Internal Collaboration: Partner closely with Sales and Marketing to maximize campaigns, national conferences, and industry event sponsorships. Provide strategic guidance for the RFP and DDQ process to ensure messaging is tailored to platform expectations. * Product Innovation: Contribute to internal product development and launch initiatives, providing vital feedback on platform demand and onboarding requirements. Skills and Qualifications * Consultative Selling: Proven expertise in strategic relationship management and business development within the investment management industry. * Professional Excellence: Exceptional ability to independently identify, research, and respond to platform gatekeeper needs while proactively anticipating evolving client expectations. * Industry Network: Current network of industry contacts across broker-dealer research teams, TAMPs, and clearing firms. * Investment Acumen: In-depth knowledge of capital markets, investment vehicles, and portfolio construction concepts. * Communication Skills: Effective in delivering impactful presentations and advancing the sales process through exceptional verbal and written communication. * Technical Proficiency: Advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, and Word) and Salesforce. * Autonomy & Drive: Self-motivated entrepreneurial mindset and professional integrity. Education and Experience * Education: Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, business, or a related field required. * Licensing: FINRA Series 7 and 63/65 (or Series 66) required, or a commitment to obtain within 90 days of hire. * Experience: 10+ years of national accounts or platform relationship management experience within asset management preferred. Job Type: Full-time, remote
