The Role As our National Accounts Manager, you'll be responsible for managing and growing a portfolio of strategic national accounts, ensuring our clients receive an exceptional experience while identifying opportunities to expand our partnerships. You'll become a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders, helping healthcare organisations solve workforce challenges through innovative staffing solutions. Working closely with teams across recruitment, operations, compliance and customer success, you'll ensure Newcross continues to deliver outstanding service while driving sustainable commercial growth. This is a highly visible, senior commercial role where relationship management, strategic thinking and customer success go hand in hand. What You'll Be Doing Build Lasting Client Partnerships Develop and deliver strategic account plans for key national clients. Build trusted relationships with senior decision-makers across multiple levels of client organisations. Lead business reviews, performance meetings and strategic planning sessions. Understand client challenges and proactively identify workforce solutions that add real value. Act as the senior escalation point, ensuring exceptional service and customer satisfaction. Drive Growth & Commercial Success Identify opportunities to expand existing contracts and introduce additional Newcross services. Support contract renewals, negotiations and commercial discussions. Work collaboratively with operational teams to maximise client retention and service performance. Deliver sustainable revenue growth through strategic account development. Champion customer success while strengthening long-term partnerships. Deliver Insight & Performance Monitor account performance against KPIs, SLAs and commercial objectives. Analyse market trends, customer data and performance insights to identify opportunities and mitigate risks. Produce accurate forecasts, account plans and growth strategies. Maintain accurate CRM records and pipeline activity. Collaborate & Lead Work cross-functionally with recruitment, bookings, compliance, operations and support teams. Share market intelligence and customer feedback to help shape business strategy. Support continuous improvement initiatives that enhance customer experience and business performance. Act as a positive ambassador for Newcross, demonstrating professionalism, integrity and our core values in every interaction. What We're Looking For You'll be an experienced Account Manager or Business Development professional who thrives on building meaningful relationships and delivering commercial results. You'll bring: Proven experience in National Account Management, Strategic Account Management, Business Development or Client Relationship Management. A strong track record of managing large, complex or multi-site customer accounts. Experience delivering revenue growth, customer retention and long-term partnership development. Excellent relationship-building skills with the confidence to influence senior stakeholders and executive decision-makers. Strong commercial awareness with the ability to identify opportunities for growth and value creation. Experience leading business reviews, commercial discussions and contract renewals. Outstanding negotiation, presentation and communication skills. Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Confidence using CRM systems, sales reporting and performance dashboards. Excellent analytical skills with the ability to turn data into meaningful commercial actions. Experience within healthcare, workforce solutions, recruitment or another regulated industry would be advantageous, but we're equally interested in talented relationship managers from other commercial sectors.
