ABC Supply is currently seeking an Accounts Receivable Specialist, specializing in National Accounts Intake, to join the team located in Beloit, WI.
Summary:
This role entails the timely and precise processing of incoming payments for the designated portfolio. The individual will generate and oversee remittance files using Excel. They will recognize discrepancies and record any disputes, while posting variances to accounts in alignment with departmental procedures.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Preparing payment remittance for a variety of payment methods including physical check and ACH/wire payments
  • Comparing payment remit to account aging using prepared excel macros
  • Researching and note payment discrepancies
  • Posting payment to customer accounts
  • Ensuring timely and accurate application of customer account payments.
  • Assisting with reporting and account reconciliation
  • Other duties as assigned

Essential Qualifications:

  • Solid understanding of Accounts Receivable and general accounting principles
  • Minimum of 2 years’ of Accounts Receivable experience preferred
  • Previous AS400 or Agility experience a plus
  • Ability to multi-task and exercise a high degree of accuray
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong problem solving and organizational skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
