Training and work associated with this position is performed physically onsite at our facility in Natchitoches LA. Employees may be allowed to work remotely upon successful completion of training, including OJT (a minimum of 2 weeks onsite). As a well-qualified candidate, YOU ARE: Compassionate and empathetic with a passion for helping others A proactive agent for change, with a passion for providing world-class customer service Energetic and enthusiastic with a desire to achieve high levels of success Able to thrive in a high-energy demanding environment that requires a sense of urgency In this critical support role, YOU WILL: Impact the lives of others, by providing support to help individuals and families by following call guides to gather, enter and verify information Manage a high volume of calls in an inbound contact center environment supporting individuals, families, and businesses that have been impacted by recent events Adhere to established customer service and documentation standards necessary to provide the level of support required To be successful in this role, YOU MUST HAVE: Flexible availability and be willing to work a variety of shifts An ability and willingness to begin work with as little as 24 hours notice An ability and willingness to work ONSITE, as required Access to 10 Mbps of download speed and 1 Mbps of upload speed of dedicated internet bandwidth (satellite provided internet service will not qualify An ability to manage crisis situations and support callers during difficult and emotional times A high school diploma or equivalent An ability to successfully pass a government background check US Citizenship Louisiana residency living in Natchitoches, Sabine, Vernon, or Winn parish Please note: To ensure adequate staffing levels and response times, regular and timely attendance related to assigned work schedules including breaks and lunches is REQUIRED Work environment: Full time Hybrid: On-site and remote This position is not yet funded. #GDITDisasterAssistanceJobs #TSSCE Salary Information The likely hourly rate for this position is between $17.33 - $23.45. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
