YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCES

  • Proven experience within a Sales/Key Account/Business Development or any similar field and in Saudi Arabia market.
  • An in-depth understanding of the logistics business environment.
  • Business development & relationship management skills.
  • Highly customer-focused with an ability to build partnering relationships at senior levels.
  • Ability to prioritise and organise work while handling multiple projects at the same time.
  • Innovative with the ability to adapt to new technologies and develop new skills.
  • Fluency in written and spoken English and Arabic is a plus and a strong advantage.
Responsibilities

YOUR ROLE

This role exists to drive business growth by developing opportunities with both existing and new customers. The primary focus is on strengthening customer relationships, maximizing locally decided and billed business, and positioning Kuehne+Nagel for success in national, regional, and global RFQs, tenders, and bids. Additionally, the role involves prioritizing key national accounts where Kuehne+Nagel can secure locally billed business, supporting prepaid traffic operations, and overseeing tender documentation, rate communication, and RFQ responses.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Actively maintain and develop own client portfolio and sell Kuehne+Nagel’s services across business units.
  • Maintain and develop close business relationships with client(s) and important stakeholders across industries.
  • Develop existing and future customer base, delivering business growth with both current and new Key Account clients.
  • Preparation and review of the Key Account Plan in line with the development directions of the company’s professional organizations and the entire company’s budget plan.
  • Assisting in the annual preparation of tender documents for companies managed by the department, and actively participating in the escalation management of these companies.
  • Coordination of client life cycles such as business development, implementation, business reviews and results.
  • Ensure delivery of high-quality services to clients in cooperation with internal stakeholders.
  • Coordinate with the wider sales and business unit organisations on sales plans to develop and increase the Kuehne+Nagel market share.
