Responsibilities

THE ROLE

As National Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for prospecting and closing new business opportunities. Your ability to adapt your approach based on your audience will be critical, as will your skill in opening doors with key decision-makers across all sectors.
This role will focus heavily on high-level and national accounts, particularly those in FTSE 100 and FT1000 organisations. While we continue to support our local client base, this role will lead the charge in expanding our reach into national and international markets.
You will own and manage the entire sales cycle, quickly and effectively addressing opportunities and challenges. This is a strategic, high-impact role, requiring a solution-oriented, commercially astute professional with strong problem-solving skills.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Driving new business acquisition with a focus on large, multinational accounts.
  • Developing and managing your own sales pipeline and prospecting efforts.
  • Representing NCM as the face of the business with major clients.
  • Ensuring a smooth handover of clients to the Auction team.
  • Managing and troubleshooting day-to-day sales operations and issues.
  • Collaborating with operational colleagues to build strong internal relationships.
  • Identifying and executing process improvement opportunities to enhance efficiency.
  • Reporting on sales performance and pipeline updates to senior management.
