THE OPPORTUNITY

Boehringer Ingelheim is seeking a visionary National Business Manager to lead our commercial strategy and drive sustainable growth across the UAE market. As a key member of our leadership team, you will have the opportunity to build and guide a high-performing sales organization, expand patient access to innovative therapies, and collaborate across functions to deliver excellence.
Based at Dubai, this role reports to the Head of Sales NEUAE (Near East UAE).

REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s / Master’s degree in Pharmaceutics, Life Sciences, and/or Business Administration
  • Minimum 2 years of Country management or national business management experience, managing UAE is a must.
  • Minimum 2 years of people management is required, specifically managing District Manager level or above
  • Strong sales & distributor management experience in the pharmaceutical industry
  • Previous experience managing both Government & private sectors across UAE is a must.
  • Marketing experience is preferred and understanding of marketing strategy is highly desirable.
  • Solid understanding of healthcare and regulatory requirements
  • Business fluent in English & Arabic.

Responsibilities
  • Drive sales and market share targets by y expanding patient access to Boehringer Ingelheim products.
  • Ensure Optimal Sales Processes and country performance to create strategies and plans that maximize opportunities to drive growth
  • Collaborate cross-functionally, providing field feedback and proposing new activities.
  • Monitor multi-channel customer engagement plans using all available channels.
  • Track market developments and competitors’ initiatives to stay ahead.
  • Manage related activities with distributor.
  • Build stakeholder networks across healthcare and government.
  • Ensure successful product launches by meeting readiness and performance targets.
  • Control sales organization costs and promotional investments, implementing corrective measures as needed.
  • Contribute to Market Access, Healthcare Affairs, and Government Affairs plans and ensure alignment with Integrated Customer Plans (ICPs).
  • Lead, guide and coach the sales team for strong performance and high engagement.
  • Ensure all business activities comply with local policies, procedures, and rules.
