Description
A leading company in FMCG sector is seeking for a National Channel Manager to oversee and optimize sales channels across the country. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing channel strategies, managing key partnerships, and driving sales growth through effective channel management. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong leadership skills who can collaborate across departments to maximize channel performance and ensure alignment with business objectives. Key Responsibilities: • Achieve modern trade and wholesale channels objectives in line with the corresponding category & brand strategies to maximize the channels' growth & profitability • Develop the channels' strategy in coordination with PMM operational team to ensure achievement of agreed on business plan • Negotiate trade terms and funds directly with customers in coordination with PMM team to meet customer P&L I.E. Manage direct spend on customers. • Develop & implement the route-to-market (RTM) strategy for both channels to achieve their objectives. • Achieve brands and SKUs objectives to maximize consumer off-take. • Develop and coach sales field team to be in line with TBTD standards to ensure growing a competent team that would support the execution of sales' plans and strategy. • Responsible for the development and delivery of the channels' KPIs (coverage , SKU/customer, volumes, customer service standards, and growth) • Direct the team to deploy strategies, goals, objectives, initiatives through which the brands will achieve the edge in the market • Develop new ways to constantly exceed expectations beyond sales fundamentals, innovation and volume. • Analyze on monthly basis the team's results, action plans, and communicate their progress • Drive demand in stores by winning over shoppers through leveraging in-store presence, and ensuring execution with excellence • Bachelor’s degree • A minimum of 10 years’ sales experience in FMCG industry • 5 years relevant qualification in a managerial position • Great motivational and communication skills. • Knowledge of various statistical techniques and forecasting. • Excellent understanding of managing customers debts and level of investments • Ability to collaborate with other support functions. • Analytical skills to solve problem Attractive Package
