Description

Are you ready to use your skills and experience in communications and media for progressive change and building collective power for AMWU members?
We are looking to fill this senior role in our National Communications Team, supporting AMWU members to build power in their workplaces, campaign for the things that matter to them at work, and deliver positive change in their industries and communities.
This is the role for you if you are looking for a challenging and dynamic role in a small team. You’ll get to use your creativity, skills and experience to deliver outstanding content to a range of audiences, working on projects that make real impacts on the lives of workers. The role will involve specialist work in media engagement and work on the broader range of operational tasks and functions associated with internal and external communication in the Union.
We highly value experience in a union or membership organisation, but please apply if your experience has developed elsewhere and you’re able to demonstrate how your skills are transferable. If you are ready to put your communications and marketing skills to use and make a difference for workers and their communities, then we want to hear from you.
