Read more about IOM's workplace culture at IOM workplace culture | International Organization for Migration [https://www.iom.int/iom-workplace-culture]   Project Context and Scope The overall objective of this assignment is to provide high-level technical support to the Ministry of Finance, in collaboration with the International Organization for Migration, to lead the development of a high-quality, GCF, Loss and Damage, and AF compliant concept notes on the climate change-human mobility nexus and the associated submission package, and to support the review, appraisal, and advancement toward full funding proposal development.   Organizational Department / Unit to which the Consultant is contributing The Senior Technical Consultant on Climate Finance for Human Mobility will contribute to the Migration, Environment and Climate Change (MECC) program under the project “Climate Change and Migration Data Programme” (Project Code: NC0161). In this role, the consultant will support the Ministry of Finance by mobilizing climate finance for interventions addressing climate-induced human mobility. This will be achieved through targeted capacity building and the development of bankable project concept notes.

The consultant will provide high-level technical support to the Ministry of Finance in developing climate finance proposals related to human mobility. This includes capacity building and creating bankable project concept notes.
