REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor or University Degree in Medicine, Life-science, Engineering, Business Administration or Biology or another relevant, advanced degree
  • Clinical background and comprehensive understanding of the healthcare system at the territory and country level
  • At least 5 years of successful sales experience in the healthcare market, with emphasis on medical device and/or pharmaceutical sales
  • Open and direct communication style and strong interpersonal skills (written and verbal) at all levels of the organization
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently on projects/duties as well as contributing to a larger team
  • Strong competitive drive with a high sense of urgency
  • Knowledge of the Nordics languages and a good written and spoken English

Responsibilities
  • Develop, build, and strengthen long-term relationships with stakeholders, including Neonatologists, Pediatric Anesthetists, Department and Directorate leads, Lead Nurses as well as finance and procurement teams
  • Pursue leads, assess needs, and provide product services to maximize the benefits derived from Medtronic’s products and/or services
  • Promote and establish education of the company’s products and/or services
  • Conduct market research, including customers and competitors’ activities and share with Marketing & OEM department
  • Implement market development plans/strategies and make changes as needed
  • Communicate customer feedback on new products and/or modifications to existing products or applications to internal stakeholders, including R&D, Operations, OEM department & Marketing
  • Actively seeking new conversion opportunities and be on site with competitive intelligence (head-to-head comparison)
