Description
Description JOB TITLE National / Corporate Account Representative (SaaS – Law Enforcement / Public Safety) COMPANY OVERVIEW We are a private-equity-backed SaaS company with over 30 years in the market and more than 45,000 clients nationwide. The company delivers mission-critical software supporting Criminal Justice Information Systems (CJIS) and public safety operations. With strong brand recognition, recurring revenue, and a long growth runway, this organization is scaling aggressively. This is a senior individual contributor role with a defined path into sales leadership. The role works directly with the CEO and VP of GMS and will materially influence sales execution, process, and future team growth. ROLE SUMMARY This is a quota-carrying SaaS sales role for candidates who already sell into state and local law enforcement and public safety agencies. This is not a general government role and not federal-only. Candidates must have direct, hands-on experience selling SaaS solutions into state and local law enforcement environments. This is a transactional to mid-market sales motion with typical deal sizes ranging from $10K–$50K. The ideal candidate is an up-and-coming player-coach who understands public sector procurement, thrives in small-company software environments, and has a measurable track record of success. This role has a narrow candidate window. Either you have sold SaaS into state and local law enforcement, or you have not. There are no substitutes. WHAT YOU WILL DO • Own and execute sales across state, local, and select federal public safety accounts • Sell CJIS-related SaaS solutions directly into state and local law enforcement agencies • Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting through close, renewals, and expansion • Maintain disciplined pipeline management and accurate forecasting • Partner directly with executive leadership on sales strategy and execution • Execute and help refine the sales playbook, including qualification and closing standards • Collaborate with Marketing on demand generation and campaign execution • Work cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, and Customer Support • Represent the company at public safety and law enforcement industry events • Leverage CRM data and analytics to drive performance and predictability • Operate as a player-coach as the team scales COMPENSATION & ROLE DETAILS • Base Salary: $130,000 – $150,000 • Total Compensation at Plan: $220,000 – $240,000 • Location: Remote (U.S.) • Base State: Florida • Territory: Nationwide • Travel: Approximately 40% • Relocation: Not required • Car Allowance: Yes (car rentals covered) Requirements NON-NEGOTIABLE REQUIREMENTS – NO EXCEPTIONS 7–15 years of quota-carrying SaaS sales experience Direct SaaS sales experience selling into law enforcement and public safety organizations (required) Proven success selling into state and local government agencies (required) Federal-only sales experience does not qualify; state and local law enforcement experience is mandatory Demonstrated mastery of public-sector sales cycles, including procurement and contracting processes Measurable, documented track record of sales performance in remote sales environments Experience working in small to mid-sized software companies; large enterprise-only backgrounds may not translate Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills across diverse stakeholder groups Data-driven sales discipline with consistent CRM usage (HubSpot or equivalent) Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to execute in high-growth, evolving environments Demonstrated ability to operate as a player-coach while maintaining an individual sales quota Working knowledge of RFP/RFQ processes, contracting vehicles, and grant-funded purchasing Formal sales methodology training (MEDDPICC, Challenger, or comparable) with demonstrated real-world application
Responsibilities
The role involves owning and executing sales across public safety accounts, managing the full sales cycle, and collaborating with executive leadership on sales strategy. Additionally, the representative will work cross-functionally with various departments and represent the company at industry events.
