JOB SUMMARY

The role involves selling the company’s products to new clients and assigning accounts to achieve profitable growth. This includes visiting clients to assess their needs, enhancing brand awareness, and recommending appropriate products. The incumbent ensures the effective implementation of marketing and sales plans, responds to enquiries, negotiates sales, and finalizes sales orders. Additionally, the position requires managing and developing business within current and potential chain accounts to maximize revenue growth and profitability. Success in this role depends on building long-term relationships by engaging with various departments beyond purchasing—such as marketing, QA, R&D, and senior management—to optimize product and company exposure. Internally, the role collaborates closely with management, supply chain, and multiple support functions, including pricing, deductions, marketing, accounts receivable, credit, graphics, quality control, and manufacturing to secure the necessary support for profitable business growth and customer service. Driving productivity through efficient sales processes and expanding sales via existing account management and incremental product placements at both current and new accounts is essential.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

Required

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills including strong verbal and written abilities.
  • Must understand current computer technology including Microsoft suite and internal systems (Blacksmith, BPCS, etc).
  • Basic business financial management, understanding, and analysis skills required.
  • Project management skills are a plus.
  • Motivated individual with the ability to achieve sales goals within the assigned timelines.
  • Ability to communicate Huhtamaki capabilities/direction in any medium.
