THE OPPORTUNITY

With a growing diverse portfolio of quality animal products Dechra Veterinary Products (Australia) is seeking an experienced and passionate National Key Account Manager. Responsible for developing and maintaining long-term relationship and maximizing sales opportunities within National Key Accounts (NKA). Serve as the primary relationship owner with responsibility for retention and growth across Companion animals and equine.
This role will operate in a hybrid working environment, sometimes in the office, sometimes from home, sometimes on the road… which means more flexibility for you. And we are flexible on location, however east coast of Australia with easy access to Sydney, Melbourne or Brisbane airport is preferred.

Responsibilities
  • Client Relationship Management- Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key clients; Drive client retention, renewals, upsells, and satisfaction; Conduct Quarterly Business Reviews to ensure alignment and progress; Manage NKA sales and rebates for maximum margin; and Develop and manage NKA influence strategies.
  • Strategic Planning- Create and implement strategic account plans to exceed sales targets.
  • Problem Solving - Address and resolve client issues promptly and effectively.
  • Sales and Revenue Growth - Contribute to the growth and long-term success of NKA.
  • Collaboration - Work closely with sales, marketing, and logistics teams; Lead NKA projects, including training and business programs; Support and train the Sales team.; and mentor Territory Managers in NKA programs.
  • Reporting and Analysis- Monitor account performance and prepare reports; Analyze data to inform decisions and strategy adjustments.
  • Negotiation- Lead negotiations with key clients to secure favorable terms
