Responsibilities

ABOUT THE ROLE:

This exciting leadership opportunity sits within the MacKillop Seasons team and reports directly to the Director, MacKillop Seasons. As the National Lead – Disaster Resilience, you will oversee the delivery of disaster response projects across New South Wales, Victoria, and Queensland, funded by both State and Federal initiatives. You will manage a national team and be responsible for the rollout of MacKillop Seasons’ education programs, ensuring alignment with project milestones. A key focus of the role is to build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders to expand the reach of MacKillop Seasons and identify future funding opportunities.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

  • Lead the planning, implementation, and management of disaster resilience projects, including budget and resource oversight.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, including government bodies, schools, and community organisations.
  • Support and develop a national team of Disaster Resilience Officers, fostering a culture of collaboration and growth.
  • Promote MacKillop Seasons’ initiatives through conference presentations, award submissions, and strategic communications.
