Organizational Context and Scope The IOM Regional Office for West and Central Africa (RO Dakar), based in Dakar, provides strategic coordination, technical support, and oversight to 22 country offices across the region. Our work spans migrant protection, humanitarian response, border governance, migration health, labour mobility, and policy coordination. The RO Dakar partners with governments, regional bodies like ECOWAS and ECCAS, and civil society to promote safe, orderly, and humane migration. Through various initiatives, we deliver evidence-based analysis, support crisis response, and foster regional dialogue, ensuring that migration benefits both migrants and societies while upholding human rights and dignity. RO Dakar's Media and Communications team consists of dedicated communications professionals who support the Regional Office and country missions across West and Central Africa. The team provides guidance and assistance on media engagement and public information matters to RO Dakar, ensuring effective outreach throughout the region. Under the overall supervision of the Regional Director and direct supervision of the Senior Media and Communications Officer, the incumbent will provide production support services to assist with RO Dakar audiovisual regional production and related communication activities.
