What You’ll Do: Our National Network Group (NNG) is the operational hub of Lindsay Transport, supporting freight movements across our national network from Coffs Harbour. We're seeking an Allocator to join our team to keep freight moving safely, efficiently, and on schedule. This fast-paced role sits at the centre of daily operations, coordinating freight movements, managing priorities, and ensuring compliance across the network. Your main responsibilities will include: Co-ordination of freight and deliveries to meet service and utilisation requirements. Planning and building loads in line with customer requirements Equipment and resource planning Raising and reconciling freight bills Liaising with National Network Group Office, other Operations & Depot teams, floor staff and maintenance to ensure operations are run efficiently Facilitating the retrieval and imaging of all proof of Delivery (POD) documentation Monitor and reporting on the performance of the fleet in accordance with specific KPIs Monitoring compliance with fatigue, mass and maintenance requirements Ensuring the safe conduct of operations in the workplace with site safety auditing What You’ll Bring: Prior experience in a similar role and industry highly regarded Knowledge of the requirements in heavy vehicle operations in relation to all elements of Chain of Responsibility Professional presentation with a friendly and helpful manner with an ability to deal effectively with a diverse workforce Strong time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines and take ownership of work outcomes. A mature attitude with a logical and methodical approach to your work Proficient in information management systems (TruckMate experience highly regarded) and Microsoft Office applications.
