Senior opportunity within our successful Transport business

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated National Operations Manager to join our team. This critical role will be responsible for managing operations across a key account within the Transport sector including overseeing the new business implementation. The ideal candidate will possess a strong commercial acumen and a passion for delivering innovative solutions that excite and delight our customers. Your key responsibilities will include:

• Lead and manage the growth of operations, ensuring alignment with business objectives and strategic initiatives. 
• Provide expert knowledge and experience in specialised operational requirements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness. 
• Provide direction and leadership for the operations team, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement. 
• Utilise in-depth commercial acumen to identify opportunities for profitable growth and implement strategies that enhance operational performance. 
• Build and maintain effective relationships with customers, delivering innovative solutions that meet their needs and exceed their expectations. 
• Oversee new business implementations, ensuring successful integration and operation of services across transport.

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• Tertiary qualification in Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field.
• Proven experience in Transport operations management.
• Exceptional leadership skills with a track record of driving team performance and engagement.
• In-depth commercial acumen with experience in managing profitable growth.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships at all levels.
• Proven problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to challenges.
• Superior end to end knowledge of Supply Chain Operations with a strong background in labour planning, cost management and improvement opportunities
