COMPANY: STUDENT QUARTERS

Reports to: Senior Director of Training and Operations, Vice President of Business Development & Strategic Partnerships
Job Type: Full Time/Salaried
Travel: This position will require 80+ % travel based on the needs of the assigned portfolio. Relocation is not required, but candidates must be based near a major airport (i.e. Atlanta, Charlotte, Dallas, Chicago).

POSITION OVERVIEW:

The Operations Specialist supports daily operations and team training across Student Quarters’ portfolio, aligning with company policies and operational standards. This role serves as a strategic troubleshooter and may step in as interim leadership at communities with extended vacancies or operational needs. Weekly assignments are provided, and travel requirements vary depending on the needs of the portfolio. The role also includes assisting with Month Close procedures and ensuring compliance with SQ platforms such as EliseAI, Leap, and other systems used to enhance operational efficiencies

SKILLS, EXPERIENCES, & QUALITIES

• A minimum of two years of property management experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of leasing, marketing, maintenance, and financial operations in property management.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to analyze financial reports, develop budgets, and identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
• Ability to perform physical tasks such as bending, lifting, and carrying up to 50 pounds during property inspections or move-in/move-out support.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

• Must be able to pass a background check.
• Must have experience in managing teams and overseeing property operations.
• Required to possess excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Must be able to work weekends and overtime hours as needed.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation are required for travel.
