Organizational Context and Scope IOM supports the Government of Lebanon in ensuring safe, orderly, and regular migration by developing its capacity to effectively manage cross-border movements. In line with national and regional priorities, IOM’s Immigration and Border Governance (IBG) Programme implements projects to improve border governance capacities in Lebanon, through infrastructure, equipment, capacity building and policy support to Lebanese authorities. This includes activities related to migrant regularization, identity management, border infrastructure and information systems, airport safety and humanitarian border management, among others.  Under the overall guidance of the Head of the Programmes and the direct supervision of the Programme Manager (IBG), the National Programme Officer (IBG) will support the effective implementation of immigration and border governance programmes in Lebanon, with a focus on government liaison, coordination, and capacity development activities for Lebanese authorities
