Description

For the purpose of this vacancy, internal candidates are considered first-tier candidates. The position requires a high degree of independence, judgment, and responsibility in managing day-to-day project implementation, coordinating with multiple national authorities and technical partners, and ensuring delivery of technically complex project outputs within agreed timelines and donor requirements. The incumbent will provide guidance and supervision to project staff, contribute to strategic planning and reporting, and ensure adherence to IOM policies and procedures. The incumbent will also be required to act as Officer-in-Charge (OIC) during the absence of the Head of Sub-Office, as delegated, ensuring continuity of programme implementation, coordination with government counterparts and partners, and effective representation of IOM at the technical and operational level.
Responsibilities
The incumbent will manage day-to-day project implementation and coordinate with national authorities and technical partners. They will also provide guidance to project staff and ensure adherence to IOM policies.
