Introduction Organizational Context and Scope Under the overall supervision of the Chief of Mission for IOM Vanuatu and the direct supervision of the Programme Officer (Humanitarian, Preparedness, Response, and Recovery), and in close coordination with the IOM Office in Fiji with coordinating functions for the South Pacific and IOM thematic specialists in Regional Office for Asia and the Pacific, Bangkok, the National Programme Officer will be responsible for supporting all activities related to disaster preparedness, response, recovery, and displacement management in both emergency and development contexts and supporting the completion of projects under the Disaster Resilience and Climate Change Unit.
