Lead a High-Performing Food Services Team

Permanent Full Time Opportunity to Lead the daily delivery of safe, high-quality patient meals at Logan Hospital while supervising a dedicated food services team and driving quality, safety and service excellence.

About This Role

Your new role:

As Team Leader – Food Services, you will oversee the day-to-day delivery of patient meal services at Logan Hospital, ensuring food is safe, timely, compliant and meets patient dietary requirements. You'll provide hands-on leadership to food service staff, coordinate daily operations and contribute to a positive, high-performing workplace.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate daily food service, assembly and distribution activities.
• Supervise, support and develop OO2 and OO3 food services staff.
• Ensure compliance with food safety, WHS, dietary and quality standards.
• Manage staffing, stock, equipment records and service improvement activities.

About You

You are an organised and proactive team leader who understands the importance of quality, safety and consistency in a healthcare food service environment. You can motivate a team, manage competing priorities and respond confidently to operational challenges.

Skills & Experience

• Strong knowledge of food production, food safety and food service operations.
• Proven ability to lead and motivate a high-performing customer-focused team.
• Strong organisation, planning, reporting and problem-solving capabilities.
• Demonstrated integrity, accountability and commitment to continuous improvement.

Logan Hospital:

Logan Hospital is the major health centre for one of the fastest growing areas in Queensland. We offer a range of services, including medical, rehabilitation, maternity, surgical and paediatric care.

We offer our staff and students extensive support and training in most medical specialties. As a teaching hospital, we help train future health care professionals and participate in research through strong partnerships with Queensland's leading medical schools, universities, and TAFE Queensland.

Our services will continue to grow as we build bigger and better facilities to support the community. By 2027, we'll have more beds and 5 more birthing suites as part of the Logan Hospital expansion.
