Description
How you create impact
Lead RFQs, RFPs, tenders and customer pricing requests, ensuring high-quality and commercially competitive responses.
Develop and maintain pricing models, rate cards and costing structures for road logistics solutions.
Work closely with Operations and Procurement to validate costs, capacity and service feasibility.Lead tender review meetings and coordinate stakeholders across the business to ensure timely and effective submissions.
Act as the subject matter expert for road logistics pricing and tender management, ensuring compliance with pricing governance and approval processes.
Prepare and support commercial discussions, negotiations and reviews with customers and key accounts.
Analyse profitability, margins, volumes and costs to ensure pricing proposals meet financial targets and identify opportunities for improvement.
Develop pricing strategies based on market trends, competitor activity and country growth objectives, supporting new business and customer expansion.
What we would like you to bring
Minimum 8 years of experience in road logistics, with strong experience in pricing, tender management or commercial management, ideally within a freight forwarding, transport or logistics environment.
A solid understanding of road transportation costs, pricing structures and profitability.
Experience managing RFQs, RFPs and complex customer tenders from initial request through to submission.
Strong commercial and analytical skills, with the ability to assess costs, margins and business opportunities.
Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the confidence to work across Sales, Operations, Procurement and Key Account Management.
Strong negotiation and communication skills, with experience engaging with customers, carriers and subcontractors.
Knowledge of GCC border procedures and customs requirements, together with practical experience in cross-border road transportation across the region, would be highly advantageous.
A proactive and structured approach, with the ability to manage multiple tenders and priorities while meeting deadlines.
A continuous improvement mindset and the confidence to challenge existing processes and identify better ways of working.
