Responsibilities

ROLE OVERVIEW

The primary purpose is to lead, manage and motivate the AWM DE sales team to meet agreed sales targets and business objectives through implementation in line with AWM DE Sales strategy and marketing plans. The National Sales Director will be responsible for ensuring that the account segmentation, prioritization and resource allocation is optimized to ensure meeting the overall sales and margin growth targets as well as driving the cost efficiency of the Sales organisation.

WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING?

  • To meet sales and profit targets by product and customer segment as agreed with the Sr Business Unit Director
  • To develop and implement the national and regional sales plans aligned to the DE sales targets and marketing strategy
  • To manage Key Accounts, Pricing and Tenders collaborating with the different support areas, especially DE KAM team.
  • To effectively manage expense budget to ensure optimum return on investment.
  • To identify business opportunities at short, medium and long term and to collaborate on the definition of new sales models and selling strategies as required.
  • To take responsibility for all aspects of inspiring, leading and managing the AWM DE sales team, e.g. ensuring that all of our sales people have the right development plans in place and get the trainings required.
  • To lead, manage, coach and develop the direct reports according to our HR policies and Processes, using the company tools effectively.
  • To build a strong customer network with key commercial and clinical stakeholders.
  • To work closely with the Bl function, reviewing regularly key performance indicators and Sales performance. Propose and implement measures/actions to turn around poor performance, to improve sales force effectiveness and to reward examples of great performance.
  • Launch and roll out new technologies (products and tools like CRM)
  • To drive a fully compliant environment
