About the Opportunity A well-established and rapidly growing provider in the life insurance and funeral planning space is seeking a dynamic National Sales Director to lead and expand its Pre-Need insurance distribution. This executive-level role offers the chance to shape strategy, build a high-performing sales culture, and drive significant growth in a critical business line.
Key Responsibilities
· Lead, mentor, and develop a nationwide sales team to achieve growth and performance objectives.
· Create and execute sales strategies to expand market share in the Pre-Need insurance space.
· Recruit, train, and retain top sales talent, fostering a culture of accountability and collaboration.
· Partner with executive leadership on long-term growth initiatives, product development, and strategic partnerships.
· Monitor and analyze performance metrics (leading and lagging indicators) to ensure consistent achievement of sales goals.
· Represent the organization at industry events and with key partners.
Qualifications
· Proven success in leading large, geographically dispersed sales organizations (preferably insurance, financial services, or funeral planning).
· Track record of exceeding revenue and growth targets.
· Strong leadership and coaching skills, with the ability to inspire high performance.
· Deep understanding of distribution models, sales incentives, and market dynamics in the insurance sector.
· Ability to travel nationally as needed.
