DESIRABLE EXPERIENCE

  • Must have a full UK Driving License (Essential).
  • Must be happy to work on the road as well as occasional overnight stays (Essential).
  • External Sales / Field Sales Experience (Essential).
  • Experience managing Sales Teams (Desirable).
  • Broad product range knowledge - 10mm tiling (Essential) and 20mm Paving (Desirable).
Responsibilities

JOB PURPOSE

Responsible for maximising the company’s profitability and business development Nationally, in line with the overall budget and the sales targets set and agreed. Focussed on the Domestic wholesale market - targeting tile shops and showrooms. With a focus on 10mm (tiling) but also access to 20mm (paving) product portfolio. Motivate and drive a sales team to deliver outstanding customer service and excellent profitable returns to the business.

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead and motivate a National sales team to grow 10mm (tiling) and 20mm (paving), alongside ancillary products.
  • Look for new Product opportunities that we can bring to market before others and be ahead of the game (to support the above).
  • Develop sales and relationships nationally, and also own area and grow/ support key accounts.
  • Setting area strategy with ASM for their areas.
  • Identifying new business opportunities.
  • Promote the company’s service, product range and image.
  • Maintain awareness of competitor activity.
  • Establish and build healthy relationships with customers, suppliers, hauliers, and colleagues.
  • Responsible for managing the budget Nationally, in line with approved targets.
  • Measured on NetSales and C1 profit.
  • Managing key relationships with stake holders / managers and their sales teams, to promote and maximise additional revenue opportunities.
  • Support procurement team so we have the best portfolio in the market and good stock levels.
  • Responsibility for compliance and discharging legal duties with regards to HR and Health & Safety to promote a safe, equitable and legally compliant work place in relation to the management of the team.
