Job Description About the role We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Sales Manager to lead our Concrete Business Team nationally. This is a senior leadership role based in Auckland, where you’ll manage a technical sales team and take full ownership of sales strategy, market development, and promotional activities for our concrete product range. On a daily basis you will be: Leading and managing the Concrete Business Team to achieve sales targets Developing and implementing promotional strategies for Sika’s concrete solutions Working closely with concrete and mining industry stakeholders to identify opportunities and tailor solutions for their unique requirements. Providing clear direction, coaching, and performance reviews for your team Working closely with other business sales teams to share insights and drive innovation Monitoring budgets, stock levels, and credit control in partnership with internal teams Ensuring compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards Qualifications What you will bring This role is ideal for someone with strong leadership experience and a proven track record in sales within the concrete industry and exposure to mining projects or clients will be highly regarded. You’ll be confident managing people and building strong relationships with customers and industry partners. As the successful candidate you will: Be a strong hunter with a proven record in sales development Have proven sales experience in the concrete or construction industry Experience in the mining industry or selling to mining clients is an advantage. Have people management experience Have the ability and willingness to travel nationally with some nights away Have excellent relationship building and negotiation skills Be able to work autonomously where required Have strong written and oral communication skills Be computer literate with the ability to use email, Word and Excel Additional Information What we offer Rewards will include an attractive salary and bonus package, company vehicle, long service bonuses, health and income protection insurance.
