The Role: National Sales Manager
Location: Kilcoole, Co Wicklow (Hybrid/Field-Based)
Salary: €80,000 + Performance Bonus + Profit Share OTE €120K
Dycon Ltd is a leading manufacturer and distributor of building, DIY and consumer brands, such as Panabond, Rustoleum, Mellerud, and Schomburg. Having recently increased its field-based sales team to five and added a new agency, Dycon is now seeking a dynamic and results-driven National Sales Manager to lead and expand our sales operations across Ireland. This is a fantastic opportunity for a highly motivated sales professional with strong relationship management skills to join a growing company and drive its commercial success. A significant opportunity for advancement exists for a person with demonstrably strong commercial instincts.

KEY REQUIREMENTS:

  • Proven experience in a senior sales role, ideally within a related industry supplying retail.
  • Strong relationship management skills with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders.
  • A track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
  • Excellent leadership and team management abilities.
  • Strong analytical skills and a strategic mindset.
  • Ability to travel nationwide as required.
  • Full clean driving licence
Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement national sales strategies to drive revenue growth.
  • Manage and nurture key client relationships, ensuring customer satisfaction and long-term partnerships.
  • Identify new business opportunities and build a strong pipeline of prospective clients.
  • Lead, support, and motivate a high-performing sales team to achieve targets.
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activity to inform strategic decisions.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including marketing and operations, to optimise sales performance.
  • Prepare regular sales reports and forecasts for senior management.
