Description This is a direct placement, full time position for Wasteology The National Account Sales Representative is responsible for driving direct sales revenue for Wasteology through quality prospecting, business development, and sales execution. This candidate will spend time as a hunter, finding new opportunities throughout the United States to support Wasteology’s growth targets. The candidate will accomplish this by: Developing a deep understanding of the waste and recycling industry and the needs of our prospects and customers. Understanding and clearly articulating the value proposition of Wasteology. Creating demand by uncovering current challenges, creating a compelling proposal to align to the Wasteology solution. Pursuing new national account opportunities through cold calling, networking, referrals and industry events. Building credibility and trust while influencing buying decisions. Generating a pipeline that leads to closed revenue and quota attainment. Managing the entire sales cycle from initial contact to contract negotiation and closing. The includes conducting needs assessment, investigating current contracts, preparing proposals, and presenting solutions to key decision makers. Navigating internally to manage timelines, pricing, service validation, data accuracy, and proposal preparation. Demonstrating contract negotiations to favor Wasteology's terms. Requirements Preferred Qualifications include: Average of 7-10 years of full cycle B2B sales experience (selling a service preferred) with a proven track record of success. Success in building pipelines and closing new logos. Experience working with business development tools, including ZoomInfo, Sapper, and LinkedIn to cultivate prospects and develop qualified leads. Ability to build and deliver presentations effectively. Experience tracking opportunities and sales cycles in CRM. Success working cross-functionally - internally and externally. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Strong negotiation and presentation abilities. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong problem-solving skills and a customer-centric approach. Education: A bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, or a related field is preferred. A combination of relevant experience and education may also be considered.
