National Security Engagement Lead, ANZ – BAE Systems Digital Intelligence
About BAE Systems Digital Intelligence
BAE Systems Digital Intelligence supports governments, Defence, and industry partners to protect and enhance national security. With strong connections across the FIVE EYES community, we deliver proven capabilities while helping Australia build and strengthen its own sovereign capability.
Our people are motivated by a shared purpose: to work with the National Security community to improve mission and enterprise outcomes, enable secure operations, and contribute to Australia’s resilience.
The Role

As a National Security Engagement Lead, you will work as part of a collaborative team to:

  • Build strong and trusted relationships with stakeholders across the National Security community and within BAE Systems.
  • Identify opportunities to adapt mature FIVE EYES capabilities and approaches to meet Australian needs, ensuring sovereign outcomes.
  • Contribute to the development of practical solutions that improve security outcomes for government and operational partners.
  • Support colleagues across business development, product, communications, and marketing to ensure a consistent and customer-focused approach.
  • Share insights on sector trends, customer priorities, and competitor activity to inform strategy and delivery.

What You’ll Bring

  • A genuine commitment to supporting the Australian National Security community and improving mission outcomes.
  • Experience working within or alongside National Security, Defence, law enforcement and CNI customers.
  • An understanding of international best practice, particularly across the FIVE EYES community, with the ability to apply this knowledge to Australia’s national defence requirements.
  • Professional behaviours that demonstrate integrity, collaboration, and respect.
  • Strong teamwork skills — able to contribute ideas, listen to others, and work towards shared goals.
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications and at least 10 years’ sector experience.
