Motivate is seeking a National Vehicle Fleet Manager to lead our vehicle fleet operations across all markets. This role is essential to ensuring optimal vehicle availability, compliance, and performance, while reducing liability risks and operational expenses. You’ll drive strategic planning, maintenance oversight, budgeting, and policy enforcement for our diverse vehicle fleet.

About the Role

  • Strategically plan vehicle acquisitions, returns, and replacements aligned across market needs, oversee the logistics of vehicle transportation and logistics
  • Optimize vehicle availability; manage maintenance and repairs, maintaining a robust vendor network, to ensure compliance with inspections, recalls, and registrations
  • Implement and oversee enforcement of vehicle fleet policies and procedures
  • Manage fleet-related budgets, track expenses, analyzing vehicle data to improve performance and lifespan, while identifying cost-saving opportunities
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams, vendors, service providers, and repair shops, and clients to align fleet operations with business goals
  • Conduct analysis to enhance fleet safety, manage post-accident processes

About You

  • Proven multi-market fleet management experience, ideally in transportation or logistics, with a track record of achieving results
  • Strong knowledge of DOT, safety, and fleet compliance regulations
  • Vendor relations and negotiation, client management, and contract/insurance policy oversight experience
  • Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities, sound judgment and data usage to see patterns and make decisions
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to adapt to a wide range of audiences and address areas of conflict in a constructive manner
  • Technology proficient, with the ability to learn and adapt to new technologies and software applications
