JOB BRIEF

We are looking for an experienced multi-drop delivery driver to join our small team delivering furniture to customers homes across the UK. The role will involve responsibility for loading the vehicle with correct products and delivering into customers home, with occasional furniture assembly and installation when required. As deliveries are UK wide, starting from the warehouse in Nuneaton, overnight trips are regularly required (at least once a week).
This is a very physically demanding job that does require individual lifts of 35kg ‘big & bulky’ items as well as assisted lifts of 120kg. This role is for a driver as part of a 2-man delivery team but there will be occasions of single one-man delivery days.
In order to meet insurance requirements, applicates will need to be 25 years old and have held a full clean driving licence for a minimum of 2 years.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Current driving licence (held for 2 years)
  • Experience with multidrop deliveries
  • Ideal candidate would have furniture delivery experience

    Pay: £27,000.00-£29,000.00 per year

Responsibilities
  • Load vehicle, confirming it matches to paperwork daily.
  • Do several delivery drops a day
  • Delivery into a room of the customers choice
  • Do minimal assembly and removal of packaging where required
  • Ensure a professional and friendly manner at all times with customer
  • Call customers with ETAs when required
  • Occasional warehouse and container unloading
  • Ensure due care is taken of all products at all times
  • Ensure due care is taken at customers properties
  • Take responsibility for care of the vehicle you are in
  • Report any discrepancies
  • Follow quality service standards and comply with procedures, rules and regulations
