Description Location: Jacksonville, FL Security Clearance Requirement: Active Secret Telework Eligible? No ASEC is seeking a Subject Matter Expert (SME) to join our team as a NATOPS Editor supporting MQ-4C Triton flight manuals. In this role, you’ll leverage your operational experience and technical expertise to ensure flight documentation is accurate, clear, and mission-ready. Your contributions will directly support the evolution of next-generation mission systems and enhance the safety and effectiveness of unmanned aircraft operations. Key Responsibilities: Serve as a key editor for NATOPS development, providing direct support to PMA-262. Act as a technical writer, creating and maintaining NATOPS content to ensure flight clearance materials are accurate and up to date. Edit and update NATOPS documentation using Arbortext Editor for XML formatting. Training will be provided if you are new to the tool. Review Airworthiness Issues Resolution System (AIRS) submissions and revisions for technical accuracy, operational clarity, and adherence to procedures. Collaborate with engineers, pilots, and evaluators to ensure content reflects current operational standards and procedures. Support continuous improvement initiatives for NATOPS publications and contribute to mission readiness and safety. Perform additional duties as required to support documentation and operational objectives. The job description is not intended to be an all-inclusive list of duties and responsibilities. It is intended to describe the general nature of the position. Requirements Education and Experience: At least 3 years of NAVAIR platform aircrew operational experience is required. MQ-4C Triton operational experience, highly desired. NATOPS instructor/evaluator certification and or MPRWS Instructor/WTI experience, preferred. Bachelor’s or associate's degree, preferred. Experience with XML or technical editing software is a plus. Equally Important: You are able to establish and maintain positive relationships with internal and external customers. You possess professional and effective communication skills, both verbal and written. You take a proactive approach to your work and you're able to accomplish tasks with limited guidance and supervision. You have demonstrated critical thinking and problem solving skills.
