You will be trusted to: - Implement habitat and land management actions like brush control, native vegetation restoration, invasive species reduction, and road/trail fuel break maintenance. You'll also collect field data to assess outcomes. - Conduct wildlife management tasks such as population surveys, deer harvests, and feral hog monitoring. - Assist with prescribed burns, ensuring safety and coordination with local fire authorities. - Operate and maintain heavy equipment like skid steers, tractors, and forestry mulchers safely. - Enhance community engagement by participating in, and potentially presenting at, regional field days and workshops. - Adhere to safety protocols, maintaining certifications, and completing required reports. You qualify with: - Four or more years of experience in natural resource management or other relevant experience.
