What you will do: Review applications for permits and leases for Lake Erie access and erosion control projects including detailed construction/engineering plans and specifications. Perform site visits to assess site conditions and inspect coastal structures and coastal restorations. Provide guidance to Lake Erie coastal property owners and lake-front communities related to lake access, erosion mitigation, and best management practices. Perform education and outreach to community officials, technical professionals, and residents regarding coastal hazards, nature-based shorelines, and coastal management concepts. Starting hourly pay of $33.52/hr with multiple pay increases over your first 7.5 years of service, with an end salary of $49.18/hr. There may also be cost of living adjustments (COLA) applied. Longevity pay supplements begin after five (5) years of state service.
