Job Description We are seeking a passionate and knowledgeable Naturalist to join our team in Udaipur, India. As a Naturalist, you will play a crucial role in educating visitors about the local ecosystems, wildlife, and conservation efforts in the region. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work in one of India's most beautiful and ecologically diverse areas. Conduct guided nature walks and educational programs for visitors, highlighting the unique flora and fauna of Udaipur and surrounding areas Develop and deliver engaging presentations on local ecosystems, wildlife behavior, and conservation issues Assist in wildlife monitoring and data collection for ongoing research projects Maintain accurate records of wildlife sightings and environmental observations Collaborate with local conservation organizations and participate in community outreach programs Ensure visitor safety during outdoor activities and adhere to all safety protocols Contribute to the development of educational materials and interpretive displays Assist in the maintenance and care of any on-site animal exhibits or rescue facilities Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Biology, Ecology, Environmental Science, or a related field Strong knowledge of local ecosystems, flora, and fauna specific to Udaipur and the surrounding region Excellent observational skills and attention to detail Outstanding communication and presentation abilities, with the capacity to engage diverse audiences Proficiency in data collection, analysis, and report writing Experience with GPS and mapping tools Previous experience in nature education, interpretation, or field research Wilderness First Aid certification (preferred) Physical ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions and terrain Fluency in English; knowledge of Hindi and local languages is a plus Passion for conservation and environmental education Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and occasional evenings as needed Additional Information An opportunity to be with world’s preferred hospitality company Captivating and rewarding experience working alongside passionate professionals Range of exclusive Heartist Benefits Develop your talent through learning programs by Academy Accor.
