Nature Education Intern Who you are! * You have strong communication skills and a friendly demeanor, wanting to gain experience in community engagement and education by assisting with and collaborating in the preparation and presentation of Mill Creek MetroParks focused * special events * school programs * public education programs * community outreach * educational lectures * reservations * summer camps * You're at least 18 years old with high school completion or GED * You have at least 1 year of combined educational and professional experience in natural resources, environmental interpretation, education, or a closely related field Please see attached job description for more information on essential functions, qualifications, physical requirements, knowledge and skills, and more. Summary The Nature Education Intern is responsible for assisting education staff in planning, organizing, and presenting educational programs and events.  About * 28 hours per week * Bi-weekly pay * $14.00 per hour * 14% OPERS employer contribution Who we are! Responsibilities
The Nature Education Intern will assist education staff in the planning, organization, and presentation of various educational programs and special events for the community. This includes collaboration on school programs, public education initiatives, outreach, lectures, and summer camps.
