POSITION SUMMARY

Technical Systems Integration (TSI) seeks a Mid-Level Intelligence Support specialist to support the Naval Surface and Mine Warfighting Development Center (SMWDC) Surface Warfare Technical Division (SWTD) in Dahlgren, VA. This intelligence analysis role focuses on providing tactical intelligence products, threat assessments, and adversary capability analysis to support SWTD’s lines of operation across all warfare areas. The successful candidate will leverage Intelligence Community (IC) resources to develop current and future intelligence products that directly impact surface warfare tactical development and fleet readiness.

REACH-BACK SUPPORT & REQUIREMENTS RESPONSE

• Develop, contribute, support, and review SWTD products requiring threat-based or centric analysis
• Support all levels of reach-back support including Requests for Information (RFI) and Requests for Analysis (RFA)
• Provide intelligence analysis for operational planning and tactical development initiatives
• Coordinate with Intelligence Community organizations to fulfill intelligence requirements and support requests

EXPERIENCE:

• 8+ years of military experience or relevant industry/government experience with surface navy Intelligence systems, networks, and collection capabilities
• Direct experience in collection, processing, and/or analysis of intelligence data from the Intelligence Community (IC)

REQUIRED TECHNICAL SKILLS:

• Proficiency with Intelligence Community systems, databases, and analytical tools
• Experience with intelligence product development, briefing preparation, and analytical writing
• Knowledge of surface warfare intelligence requirements and threat analysis methodologies
• Understanding of classification protocols and intelligence dissemination procedures

Required Competencies:

• Expert-level knowledge of current and emerging threats to surface warfare operations
• Strong analytical and briefing capabilities for intelligence products and threat assessments
• Understanding of adversary capabilities, tactics, and weapon systems affecting surface forces
• Ability to synthesize complex intelligence information into actionable tactical intelligence

DOMAIN KNOWLEDGE:

• Understanding of surface warfare tactics, weapon systems, and operational procedures
• Knowledge of joint and coalition intelligence sharing protocols and procedures
• Experience with theater-specific threat analysis and regional intelligence requirements

COMPLIANCE REQUIREMENTS

• Security Clearance: SECRET (current and active) and TS/SCI eligible
• Citizenship: U.S. Citizenship required
• Background Check: NCIS background check required
• Travel Requirements: Limited travel

• Ability to work in standard office and secure facility environments
• Extended periods of computer work and detailed intelligence analysis tasks
• Ability to attend briefings, meetings, and coordinate with intelligence organizations
• Ability to work in Sensitive Compartmented Information Facility (SCIF) environments
