JOB DESCRIPTION

Ridgewood Technology Partners, LLC is actively seeking Investment Portfolio Manager, to join our team to provide support to our Department of Navy client.
The candidate will work with a team in developing and delivering a capability-based investment and portfolio management framework based on the strategic planning framework which represents a repeatable and efficient approach for investment and portfolio management. The approach should include (1) identifying portfolios and investment needs; (2) developing and scoping initiatives; (3) verifying initiative alignment to strategy; (4) estimating and validating costs; (5) prioritizing investments; and (6) incorporating investments into budget planning documentation. The framework shall also include the definition of the necessary metrics, processes, procedures required to perform enterprise-level investment and portfolio management.
Responsible for providing assistance in achieving goals that requires reengineering business processes; demonstrating beneficial returns on new and existing information technology (IT) investments; knowing what it costs to deliver business capabilities; and effective implementation of the Capital Planning and Investment Control (CPIC) process for investments in information technology (IT) that support these business processes and capabilities.

Qualifications:

  • Expert knowledge of industry accepted standards and best practices related to Department of Navy investment management and portfolio management.
  • Working knowledge of the defense business systems investment certification requirements and processes.
  • Detailed knowledge of the DOD Planning, Programming, Budget, and Execution (PPBE) process.
  • Demonstrated experience implementing or transforming an organization’s investment and portfolio management processes resulting in positive outcomes.
  • Direct and relevant experience in their area of expertise.
  • Expert knowledge and ability to communicate effectively in both oral and written forms with all levels of staff as well as clients.
  • Ability to work independently or with limited supervision.
  • Possess critical thinking, problem solving, and initiative/proactive skills.
  • Demonstrated working knowledge and understanding of tools such as MS Office Suite.

SECURITY REQUIREMENTS:

  • Active TS clearance security with SCI eligibility is highly desirable.
