We are looking for an individual who is a motivated self-starter, with strong inner drive. Responsibilities: Work alongside CT LIVE producer to schedule interviews with local businesses and community leaders Pitch content ideas for segments Shoot video while attending on-location shoots Edit segments for broadcast Post to CT LIVE’s social accounts Qualifications Experience with MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook preferred Proficient in using social media platforms such as: Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok Prior video editing experience required Eligibility Requirements: Must be actively enrolled in a degree-granting program at an accredited institution during the length of the program and be able to provide documentation to confirm your degree progress Current class standing of junior or above (30 credits) Must be authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship by NBCUniversal IN-PERSON Must be willing to work at the station in West Hartford, CT Desired Characteristics: Detailed oriented by nature Comfortable working on multiple projects at the same time Ability to find creative solutions to projects Students with class standing of junior or above preferred Responsible, punctual, creative, and professional Able to interface maturely with all levels of company management, and able to participate in execution of strategic division and departmental initiatives Excellent organizational skills.
