The Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist in this role will provide medical leadership within the interdisciplinary team. They will support the delivery of mental health assessments and management for the young people, empower families and care networks, participate in key clinical decisions, supervise and work with registrars and assist medical student education. The role provides the opportunity to develop, deliver and evaluate innovative care for young people and their care networks.
Location: Nepean Hospital and Penrith are easily commutable by train and road from central Sydney. NBMLHD encompasses the Penrith, Hawkesbury, Blue Mountains and Lithgow regions.
