>>>Winter 2026/2027 Seasonal Position INSTRUCTOR - FULL SEASON/SHORT SEASON (December – February/April) NBS is seeking instructors for the full 2026/27 season. Whether you are a career instructor or just want to spend a season riding the world’s best powder and getting paid then NBS is the company for you!! NBS has grown to be one of the largest international snowsports schools in the Niseko area. NBS prides itself on its outstanding reputation of high quality instruction and high level customer service. We believe the key to this success is supporting our staff in every way possible. NBS offer instructors a world class seasonal training program that includes multi-level, progression sessions that operate 3-5 days a week. This training program is led by trainers/examiners from various organizations around the world. Key Responsibilities · Meeting/Greeting guests on the meeting area · Creating a fun and safe learning environment for guests · Communicating with parents regarding a child’s performance during the lesson · Meeting area presentation maintenance and snow clearing · Attending training sessions (on & off snow) · Promoting other SkiJapan.com & NBS services · Providing guests with key local information & assistance · Being a guide and source of knowledge for guests during their stay · Providing our guests with professional instruction and an elevated level of customer service Minimum Qualifications Required · Level 2 qualification with an internationally recognized instructor training organization Preferred Experience · Previous teaching experience with a snowsports school is preferred · Additional snowsports qualifications such as Snowboard, Kids Cert etc. · Experience teaching children Personal Attributes Required · Responsible, energetic, confident, can-do attitude · Clear and effective communication skills · Ability to provide an exceptional guest experience · Genuine passion for teaching children · A team player that can put others first and compromise · A mature, flexible approach with the ability to adapt to any situation · Punctual, reliable and well presented · Ability to take direction from supervisors · Ability to represent NBS to the highest standard at all times Language Requirements · English is a MUST · Secondary Japanese/Cantonese/Mandarin language skills are preferred but not necessary Remuneration Package · Hourly rate varies depending on instructor qualifications and experience · Lucrative request private lesson bonuses · Personal All Mountain Lift Pass (Grand Hirafu, Hanazono, Niseko Village & Annupuri Resorts) · A high quality, warm and durable instructing uniform is provided for work · Staff Locker Room 1 minute walk to the slopes · Subsidised staff accommodation in Hirafu village and Kutchan Employment Dates and Working Hours Full Season contract dates: 7th December, 2026 – 31st March, 2027 Short Season contract dates: 7th December, 2026 – 14th February, 2027 As with any seasonal work, hours and dates of work are snow and customer dependent.
