Description Main Purpose: To nest parts to be cut by the Burning Machines, And to Coordinate Burning activities in the Plate Shop. Essential Functions: Nesting Piece Marked Plates form the Lofting Department Make sure that all parts are cut from the correct material. Make sure that all piece markings are on the corresponding pieces when cut. Make sure that daily maintenance records are kept on all NC Burning Machines. Make sure that all maintenance is completed on all NC Burning Machines Daily. Keeps records of plate inventors. Performs Overhead Crane inspections in the Plate Shop. Make sure that all cut parts are distributed to the correct job site. Individuals will be required to work in changes of temperature, hot, cold, humid, wet, and dry conditions, dust, mud, etc. Gulf Island will not sponsor applications for work visas.
