Employment is contingent upon contract award and successful completion of any required background or security processes. Position Summary We are seeking an experienced DoD medical database professional to manage user access, permissions, and system integrity across multiple military medical databases in support of the North Carolina Army National Guard (NCARNG) G1 Medical Branch. This position serves as the primary administrator for the full suite of NCARNG medical data systems and is responsible for ensuring accurate, timely, and compliant access management across all platforms. The ideal candidate will possess deep functional experience across DoD medical database systems, hold current required certifications, and thrive in a high-accountability environment where data accuracy directly impacts service member medical readiness. Telework is not authorized. Key Responsibilities Daily: Manage permissions and user access for MODS (MRP, IDES, MEDPROS, MHA, MWDE), MEDCHART (DenClass, eCase, eMMPS, HRR, MATS, MRR), MEB Prep, MHS GENESIS, and Quest Diagnostics/Lab Processing; troubleshoot and resolve all access problems Daily: Manage system access requests for G1 Medical Staff for DOEHRS, AERO, IPPS-A, and iPERMS Daily: Initiate user accounts ensuring all requirements — current security clearance, HIPAA training, etc. — are met prior to granting access Daily: Coordinate with MEDPROS helpdesk to resolve member file discrepancies caused by system glitches Weekly: Create Task Force Reports for each Major Subordinate Command (MSC); update on a weekly basis Monthly: Generate MEDPROS medical readiness reports; submit to the Deputy State Surgeon before the last working day of each month Monthly: Ensure all user requirements remain current; submit delinquency report to COR Quarterly: Send Commander Portal reports to MSCs for accuracy review; annotate discharges and transfers; remove/delete identified permissions Ongoing: Maintain current Internal G1 Medical contact sheet for all G1 Medical Staff and Contract Employees; upload to shared G1 Medical Microsoft Teams Channel Required Qualifications U.S. Citizen Minimum four (4) years functional experience in each assigned medical database system Ability to obtain and maintain a NACI / Public Trust Security Clearance Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Common Access Card (CAC) Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook/Exchange, Teams, SharePoint Demonstrated ability to plan, organize, meet deadlines, and handle sensitive/confidential information Availability for periodic weekend work to support Medical Readiness Events Preferred Qualifications Prior military service or direct experience supporting the National Guard or Army Reserve Currently active DoD Common Access Card (CAC) and/or existing favorable security clearance adjudication — candidates with an active Secret clearance or higher fully meet and exceed the NACI/Public Trust minimum requirement Experience working with the NCARNG or NGB medical programs Familiarity with multiple DoD medical database and administrative systems Experience with all MODS sub-systems: MRP, IDES, MEDPROS, MHA, MWDE Experience with all MEDCHART sub-systems: DenClass, eCase, eMMPS, HRR, MATS, MRR Required Certifications Introduction to the DoD Disability Evaluation System Training DOEHRS Certification
