Benefits * $32.00 hourly rate of pay.  * Health Insurance * Dental Insurance * Vision Insurance * Employee Assistance Program * Paid Time Off (PTO)/Holidays Paid at time and a half if worked * Opportunity for overtime SSNW is a drug-free workplace.   Responsibilities/Duties: * Act as a visual deterrent to prevent theft, embezzlement, sabotage, fire, and accidents * Conduct regular patrols * Monitor activities * Surveillance * Access Control * Safety escorts * Using provided communication devices * Represent SSNW’s brand * Properly wear the issued uniform * Complete Daily Activity Reports (DAR) * Work with local law enforcement, and emergency services. * Provide friendly assistance to customers, employees and visitors following the department's procedures. * Other duties as described in the Post Orders Required Skills/Abilities: * Current Washington State Unarmed Security Guard License * Must have a valid driver's license * Must have a clean criminal record and driving record * EMT Background a huge plus * 8-10 years of combined experience (Military, Law Enforcement, and/or Security) preferred * Smart phone to access the apps we use for scheduling, clocking in/out, and reporting * Availability to work graveyards and weekends * Reliable transportation * Honesty and Integrity * Able to work non-traditional hours including swings, graveyard, weekends, and holidays * Ability to react appropriately in high stress situations   Education and Experience: * High School Diploma or Equivalent * **8-10 years' experience as a police officer, military police officer, or extensive security officer background** * Knowledge of security protocols, and equipment   Physical Requirements: * Must be able to conduct regular walking foot patrols * Able to stand 8-12 hours a day * Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times (occasionally) SSNW is committed to protecting the privacy and confidentiality of applicant and employee information.  Security Services Northwest is an Equal Opportunity and Affirmative Action Employer.
