The Level II NDT Technician inspects composite parts for defects using automated and manual methods in ultrasonic techniques. This position requires Level II NDT experience in ultrasonic non-destructive testing in accordance with NAS-410. Primary Responsibilities:  * Set up and standardize equipment and conducts tests per written procedures and work instructions. * Work in a team environment with the ability to operate multiple pieces of equipment in an efficient manner. * Interpret product scans with high accuracy to determine the acceptance of product * Communicate with team members of test results, report generation, and detail information as required. Qualifications * Experience as a Level II NDT Technician in ultrasonic inspection preferred * Must have more than 1 to 2 years of experience as a NAS 410 or equivalent certified Level 2. * Must be able to pass a company administered UT Level II test. * College Science courses or equivalent education background a plus (need not have a degree). * Must be able to pass a near vision 20/25(Snellen) at 16” +/- 1” in at least one eye, and be capable of adequately distinguishing and differentiating colors. * Computer and technical writing skills (i.e.: MS Word, Excel, MS Paint, or equivalent). * Must possess excellent interpersonal and verbal communication skills * Requires understanding of electronics, test equipment, mechanical test methods and materials characteristics. * Understanding of composite manufacturing/product is preferred.   ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- * As a Department of Defense Contractor we are required to hire US Persons. * Visa sponsorship is not being offered.
