REQUIREMENTS

• Experience in domestic or commercial cleaning (NDIS experience preferred).
• Need to bring own cleaning equipment to each shift.
• Knowledge of safe cleaning practices and infection control.
• Current National Police Check.
• Valid driver’s license and access to a reliable vehicle.
• Working with Children Check.
• NDIS Worker Screening Check.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented NDIS Cleaner to provide high-quality cleaning services to clients living with a disability under the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS). This role involves working in private homes or supported accommodation to ensure a clean, safe, and hygienic environment that supports client well-being and independence.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Perform general cleaning duties including vacuuming, mopping, dusting, and disinfecting surfaces.
• Clean bathrooms, kitchens, bedrooms, and other living areas as required.
• Handle cleaning chemicals safely and according to company procedures.
• Follow personalized cleaning plans based on each client’s needs and preferences.
• Respect client privacy, dignity, and cultural values.
• Communicate clearly with clients, support workers, and supervisors.
• Report any health or safety hazards, incidents, or changes in client condition.
• Maintain accurate records of services provided (e.g., timesheets, service logs).
