About the Role

We are seeking compassionate and experienced support workers — or those with a strong interest in the field — to join our team in Brisbane's northside. A background in supporting individuals with intellectual disability is highly regarded. We are looking to build new teams in the Caboolture, Burpengary, Morayfield, and Brighton.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Certificate III in Individual Support, Certificate IV in Disability, or other relevant qualifications are preferred, but not essential.
  • A strong passion for supporting individuals with intellectual disability and a commitment to ongoing learning.
  • Experience in disability support is highly valued.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to effectively communicate with individuals, families, and other stakeholders.
  • NDIS Worker Screening Check is required prior to commencement.
  • Availability of a minimum of 2–3 shifts per week, including nights and sleepover shifts.
  • Possession of an open driver's license and reliable transportation.

Tasks & Responsibilities

  • Respond to clients' needs and work collaboratively with their families, support networks, and other stakeholders in their lives.
  • Accurately document activities, progress notes, and incident reports in a timely manner.
  • Implement Positive Behaviour Support strategies when required, with training provided where necessary.
  • Adhere to the NDIS Code of Conduct at all times.
